1.     Weneed t be totally committed to Jesus, Making Him our Lord. This means that we willnot say "no" when He asks us to do something for Him.

2.     Everydisciple of Jesus should ask the question, "What would Jesus do? In everysituation in which they find themselves.

3.     Weneed to live continuously in God's Word as His disciples so that we will knowHim better, and then we will have an increased ability to know what Jesus woulddo in each situation.

4.     Weneed to see God as our loving Master who only wants our good.

5.     Weneed to love and serve God first, other second and ourselves last.

Jesus made discipleship a priority and so should we.

Discipleship is God’s chosen strategy to reach the world.

Spiritually mature Christians should be the end result of discipleship

We need to make firm decision to follow Jesus and not settle for less. To follow Jesus is to go the same way as he did and He warned that this would be costly. Jesus said that it would cost everything.

God’s sons should be demonstrating Jesus to the world. In fact, we should be transformed in His likeness

Human nature does not like obedience; neither does it enjoy facing cost. It is easy to settle for level of discipleship acceptable to us and imagine it to be acceptable to God.

As disciples we should be teachable,faithful, spiritually hangray, and scrifice all becasue of our love for Jesus.
